"Federal Policy and the Great Recession." The State of Working Washington. Economic
Opportunity Institute, n.d. Web. 01 Mar. 2013.
The main points of this article were to talk about what the government’s responses to the Great Recession were, and to the recession of 2001. The topics covered were the bailout plan and federal stimuli. If someone asked me to describe this article I would tell them it is about the pros and cons of the government’s response to the Great Recession, and how it worked out.
This source was very useful. However, there is proof that it could be objective because it is from the point of view of Washington state alone. Despite this, I think it provides very useful information and that it reached its goal adequately, which was to convey information about the Great Recession.
This source was very useful. From it, I learned that the government bailed out banks and auto industries. This helps shape my argument because it gives me examples of how this bailout affected America. It also gives me valid information as to what America was like after the recession.

I think this is one of the most important sources i came across! It’s a resource about all the New Deal programs and it teaches all about them. It gives the New Deal initiative, the description and then the outcome. All this information is very useful. With this resource i get a deeper analysis of everything that dealt with the New Deal from the 1930s-1940s.
I think this is the best source in our bibliography. Its straight to the point with information and gives exactly what i'm looking for. The information is very concise and organized and this site is very manageable. The goal of this source is to discuss the New Deal achievements and this site does it perfectly.
This source helps shape my argument by providing facts that i can use for my project. This source helps me realize that there were other things dealing with the New deal that i’d probably would've never mentioned or known of. Once i educate myself on everything i can inform everyone else with the help of this wonderful source.

This source is about the great depression and the New deal. It covers the period from 1929 through the 1940s. This secondary sources also provides many primary source. The visualizations on this site helps with a better understanding of the causes and background of the Great depression. This source provides a background and cause analysis of the great depression and many graphs about the depressions impact. Compared to other sources this source provide ideological perspectives from other scholars. They offer different ways to learn about the depression. This source provides an abundance of information that is very useful and new. Some of the stuff on this site i didn't see on the others.
I definitely think this is a useful source, all the information on this source is reliable. The primary sources come from the site that Ms. Jonas gave us in class for primary sources. Different scholars give their perspectives of the many issues dealing with the great depression so this source is not biased. In the end the goal of this source is to provide an understanding of the new deal and the great depression.
The direct and straight to the point arguments brought up in this source is helpful to our research because it sets a starting point. This source helps me realize that there is more to the Great depression and New deal than i know about. I have a general knowledge about the periods but this source provides a deeper analysis.

This source is from the United States history it is all about the New Deal. This source is lengthy and provides an abundance of information about the New Deal and also about roosevelt. The purpose of this article is to educate about the reformation with this new program. It is factual and all the events are in chronological order. In full detail this author discusses the great depression, causes, consequences and things that followed.
This source compared to other sources is similar. This source is better because it contains a deeper analysis of issues focuses on the great depression. It provides hyperlinks for some things that may need further explanation (which is really helpful). The goal of this source is to provide an analysis of the depression and the New deal. From browsing the other articles on this site seems just as detailed and helpful.
This source was very helpful to me and to this project. I didn't have much knowledge about the new deal and what is was and everything involved with it. This source provided me with all of those things. At the end a concise conclusion of everything that was taught was provided, it summarizes the article in less than one paragraph. I think the most important thing i pulled from this site is the description of the improved america after the New deal and learning about the New deal itself. Most of the facts i can use on my project and incorporate them into my ideas. This has given me new ideas about the great deal.

This source is very concise and straight to the point. It’s from the very well known site “History.com”. This source provides understandable information in little detail in one paragraph. The purpose of this article is to inform the reader about the Great Depression and to introduce the New Deal. It offers a small analysis of what happened and it mentions the New deal.
This source is a little useful, it provides a small summary about the common knowledge of the Great Depression. Compared to other sources this one is very bare with the information. It provides enough but its compacted into one paragraph. It’s not as useful as other ones but it has some potential use. The website is very reliable and it also offers links relating to the topic elaborating on what is already being discussed. The goal of this source is to summarize about the great depression and the new deal, it does an okay job.
I don't this source will fit into my research. When i'm working on my project i'm not going to refer back to this because theres not any significance to this source. I may reread it again and keep the general ideas and remember them. This doesn’t help shape my argument that much. As ms. Jonas said i don't want to over simplify the history just like this source did.

The topics covered are the crash, the New Deal, and the Great Depression, among other things. In general, this source gives great detail into what events caused, happened during, and resulted in the the Great Depression.

One of the government responses to the great recession was their bailout plan. I found one thing they did do so i thought i should find out what the government wasn’t doing. This article provides facts about the great recession and government failures. All the information provided in this article is about the recession and the things the government is not doing to stop it. This article also gives various reasons for the great recession and events in chronological order.
This source seems pretty useful it provides a lot of information that i'm sure i can put to use. It’s similar to other sources in my bibliography with the content and information provided. I think this information is a little biased because it is in the opinion of the author. The overall goal of this source is to provide a point of understanding for the great recession and government failure.
This source was helpful because it helps me identify the government failures. Knowing their failures can help me interpret their responses to the great recession. I can use this information in my project with the many examples they provide.
Swanson, Ian. "Government Response to Crisis Staved off New Great Depression." The Hill.
Capitol Hill Publishing Corp., n.d. Web. 1 Mar. 2013.
The main points of this article are what America would be like without the federal response, and what the federal response was. If someone asked what this article was about I would tell them it is about the government increasing the money supply, and bailing out companies, and the results of these actions.
This was a useful source because it provided information I did not already know. The information is reliable because it is from a good source, however it might be subjective because it offers a lot of opinions.
This source was helpful to be because it offers new opinions as to how the federal stimuli, increased money supply, and TARP affected America. I can use this source to show conflicting views of the federal response. It changed my views on the topic because it gave me a different opinion of the federal bailout plan.
